The villa is located in the municipality of Bibbiena in the center of Tuscany.
The building is completely new, from the foundation up. The reconstruction was started in 2007 and due to private circumstances, it was not finished.

The ground floor is currently only finished as a shell and still needs to be finely finished and fitted with windows and doors.

The site is 34.26.45 hectares / 84.7 acres and consists of mostly woodland and approximately 5 hectares / 12 acres of agricultural land.
The road from the village is about 1.3 km long and the last 700 meters are reasonably passable, but a 4×4 is recommended.

The village of Bibbiena is an excellent base for those wishing to visit the splendid Casentino forests.
It was built as a medieval stronghold on top of a hill, of which the Tarlati Tower is the first thing that can be seen.
Historical documents confirm that the foundation of Bibbiena dates back to the year 979; shortly thereafter, the first small group of houses developed around a parish church. Until the sixteenth century, the village was contested by Florence and the bishops of Arezzo.
Every corner of Bibbiena’s historic centre evokes its illustrious past. While wandering through the alleyways, surrounded by the work of artists and artisans, you constantly feel as though you’re experiencing life as it was lived once upon a time.
