Terzo di Danciano is located in the municipality of Cortona, in eastern Tuscany, between “Val di Chiana” and the “Valle Tiberina”.
We are in the province of Arezzo, a few kilometres from the border with green Umbria.
The area was known and inhabited even before the Etruscan age and it is now rich in history and traditions. The main cities are Arezzo (98,000 inhabitants), about an hour’s drive and Perugia (180,000 inhabitants), 45 minutes away.
The nearest village is Mercatale, 2.5 km, where you can find essential services such as banks, supermarkets, post office, pharmacy, taxi’s, pubs, gas stations as well as a registration office of the municipality of Cortona 20 km further.
The nearby Lago Trasimeno is located 16 km away.
