Organic Vineyard Estate
This organic vineyard covers 14 hectares (34.6 acres), with 11 hectares (27.2 acres) dedicated to Chianti and an additional 3 hectares (7.4 acres) planted with Cabernet. The estate also includes 10 hectares (24.7 acres) of forest and features 300 olive trees.
The property includes a 250 m² (2,690 ft²) technical workshop for machinery storage on the ground floor, as well as a 250 m² (2,690 ft²) wine cellar for production and bottling. A 50 kW photovoltaic system, installed in 2014, provides sustainable energy for the estate.
The vineyard yields approximately 800-1,000 quintals (80,000-100,000 kg or 176,000-220,000 lbs) of grapes annually. According to the owner, current turnover solely from grape sales is around €180,000-200,000 per year.
Due to the owner’s age, the estate no longer produces its own wine, though it did in the past.
