The extensive estate of approximately 14 hectares surrounding the property offers plenty of space for walks and outdoor activities. The breeding of Chianina cattle, Sardinian sheep, and Cinta Senese pigs, along with beekeeping, gives the village an authentic rural atmosphere. The swimming pool, nestled in greenery, is the perfect place to relax on hot summer days. The private beach along the river, one of the few swimming spots in Tuscany, is a peaceful oasis accessible exclusively via Europe’s longest private bridge, ensuring maximum privacy and security.

The hamlet is located on the top of a Tuscan hill and it’s easily reachable for many destinations. Various activities are organized, and it is possible for the new owner to develop many more tourist and agricultural activities.

Currently, the following activities are organized for guests and locals: Mountain Biking, Hiking in the Canyon Park, Rafting & River Activities, Paragliding, Quad while driving, Horse riding, Woodland Paintball, Climbing, Sub immersion in the river Lima, Spa relaxing, Canyoning, Mushrooms hunting, Hiking in the mountains, Cooking Classes, Fishing, etc. Some of these activities are organized by the activities team and others are done together with experts.

All the surroundings of the hamlet come from the old farm buildings and materials of the medieval houses. These have been used during the careful restoration work of conservative and bio-architectural restoration.

In the restoration, traditional and natural materials such as cork, native solid wood, lime, stone and terracotta were rigorously used. The agriturismo uses photovoltaic panels to produce electricity, solar panels and a wood-fired boiler for heating water, a Phyto depuration plant for the removal and irrigation reuse of wastewater.

The current owners’ philosophy is to create complete autonomy and independence and is also reflected in the design of the hamlet: the common areas (the farms outside the apartments, the tables, the central square near the theatre), the fireplaces, the absence of televisions encourage interaction and socialization, which is especially important in the current frenzy that tends towards individualism and physical isolation.

The hamlet is located in the middle of pleasant and sunny countryside and is crossed by the clear and charming waters of the Lima River, from which the valley takes its name.

The various accommodation and farm buildings are located halfway up the hill above the river, and all realized with respect for the surrounding landscape.
With maximum respect for the environment, the accommodation uses a system of constructed wetlands for the sewage system.

Guests, besides enjoying the goodness and genuineness of the homemade local craft products, can participate in various activities related to agricultural and environmental culture.

For example: beekeeping, management of sheep (goats and sheep) and their products, farm animals, processing and use of medicinal plants, cultivated and wild, mycology and herbal medicine lessons led by Doc.

The current owner, coming from several generations of medicinal ancestors and himself a pharmacist with specific skills, by studying and following specific courses on medicinal plants, homeopathy, homotoxicology, magistral preparations, cosmetic chemistry, functional medicine and organizing himself, is completely at home here and has brought back to their environment in the last decades many of the old native plants with medicinal properties.

The possibilities for fun in the area are almost endless: excursions on foot, horseback riding and mountain bike tours, rafting courses, canoeing and all other activities possible on the rivers of Lima. Each season offers different possibilities.

Food and Beverage – AgRistoro and Restaurant: in the hamlet you can choose whether to eat in your own restaurant or at AgRistoro the mobile kitchen, among the animals, the clean air and the flow of the Lima River.

Educational Room – Teaching school activities – Team building: In addition to a pleasant stay – handmade food in the restaurant – all the elements of nature – away from chaos and distractions, there is an equipped educational room with projector, video projector, Wi-Fi, microphone, amplifier, etc. The room is available for team building, training and teaching and school activities. In collaboration with qualified teachers with many years of experience, who are able to propose tailor-made programs for educational requirements and regulations by formulating a program that complements the theoretical part with a practical part.

River habitat: the stream that flows through the manor offers opportunities for safe rafting, building rafts in the group and also the life and habitats of the river environment.

Mountain trails: directly from the manor, trails on mountain paths through the story of the life of the villages where orientation activities and survival techniques are possible.

Cooking classes: the kitchen offers many possibilities, and the joint result can be read in the dish. The farmhouse, which uses its own products and those from the surrounding nature, offers the possibility of structuring the lesson with different levels of difficulty.

Medicinal herbs course in the hills, meadows and in the surroundings you will find wild herbs suitable for cooking and as medicinal plants. The owner Massimo Betti (pharmacist specialized in medicinal plants) is an expert in these plants and is available for more information.

The swimming pool, disinfected with sea salt that only develops chlorine in filter tanks with natural sand, is located in the mountains and is surrounded by a green area. With a panoramic view up to the Apuan Alps, which dominate the valley.
