The ancient Casale is an ideal starting point for a tour of the famous “vineyard roads“, as it is located in the greenery of the hills of the classic ”Gallo Nero” Chianti, only 10 km from Siena, 40 km from San Gimignano and 60 km from Florence.

The Casale is surrounded by about 7 hectares of land and consists of a beautiful olive grove with 400 olive trees, arable land and woods.

Layout

From the electric gate you will find your own private avenue of about 700 meters.
This driveway is already fully lit up to the top of the hill.

Upon arrival at the top of the hill, you will find panoramic vistas.

If you then look to the left, you will see a covered parking space with 5 free spaces for your preferred future cars.

Second apartment on the ground floor-
A large apartment with a spacious living room, which has direct access to the terrace. Adjacent to a dining room with access to a terrace at the rear, a kitchen (functioning) with access to a terrace at the rear, two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a possibility to realize a third bedroom. Another economic layout could be to split this apartment in two and then each apartment offers its own private entrance.

Additional & regional information

The Antico Casale originates from the small church of San Lorenzo which in the year 1053 was donated to the Bishop of Siena by the Emperor Henry III of Germany. A document from the archive of the Hospital of Siena, dating back to the year 1250, confirms its existence as a parish of the ancient agricultural village of Cagliano.
